Why we’re building dotbox
dotbox was created from lived experience: planning life around symptoms, pushing through discomfort, and realizing how little everyday support exists for something so many people experience.
We’re building a kinder, more useful kind of subscription—one rooted in comfort, education, dignity, and menstrual equity.
Meet the founders
dotbox did not begin in a boardroom. It began with two friends who were tired of seeing painful periods, irregular cycles, hormonal conditions, and pelvic-health struggles treated like things people should simply push through.
Ashlie lives with PCOS. Sara lives with Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. Together, we know what it feels like to plan life around symptoms, search for comfort, and wonder why everyday care so often feels like an afterthought.
“What if self-care arrived exactly when you needed it most?”
That question became dotbox: a thoughtfully timed care package filled with comfort, education, encouragement, and small moments of joy. More than products, we want every box to feel like a reminder that someone understands—and that you are not alone.
Co-founder & CEO
Ashlie brings years of operations leadership and a deep love of creating experiences that make people feel genuinely cared for. Living with PCOS has shown her how isolating hormonal-health challenges can feel, and she is passionate about building practical support that meets people on both the manageable days and the really hard ones.
Co-founder & CMO
Sara combines creativity, compassion, and storytelling to help every part of dotbox feel warm and personal. Living with Pelvic Floor Dysfunction shaped her passion for breaking stigma around women’s health and creating a community where difficult conversations can feel normal, safe, and understood.
Our promise
We are building a community where people feel seen, supported, and empowered through every season of cycle care.
From first periods and PCOS to postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, and the many experiences in between, our goal is simple: make care feel more personal, more useful, and much less lonely.
